I am setting out on a mission, right now, to establish a nonprofit organization. While I don't exactly know what step one is, I know the steps I am going to take will each be meaningful. I am hoping the journey will develop into an army of supporters.
Today the goal is to complete a mission statement, a logo, and the basic layout of the website. Tomorrow, I hope to complete some of the pages to give the website some substance. On
Monday, I will start the process of registering my nonprofit with the government. All of this is a big undertaking, as I am a full-time law student. But all of this is absolutely necessary, because, in the words of Fannie Lou Hamer, "Nobody's free until everybody's free."
Call it what you will, but it is unacceptable to me that sex trafficking is as prevalent as it is today. I hope today is the start of something very good.
